I have now completed my second week on the Feel Great System, and the overall direction remains positive.
I began this journey at 194 pounds. After my first week, I weighed 190.6 pounds. This week, the scale showed:
189.5 pounds
Week 2 change: −1.1 pounds
Total change after two weeks: −4.5 pounds
Although I initially hoped for a larger change this week, losing another 1.1 pounds means I am continuing to move in the right direction. More importantly, I am beginning to establish a routine that feels increasingly natural.
Two weeks in, I am encouraged by the results and ready to continue building on them.
Staying Consistent With the System
I followed the same Unimate and Balance routine every day during Week 2.
Here in the Dominican Republic, Unimate is packaged under the name Unici-Té, but I will continue referring to it as Unimate for my English-speaking readers.
My daily routine remained consistent:
My first Unimate was usually around 10:00 a.m.
I generally had my first meal around 1:00 or 2:00 p.m.
I took my second Unimate around 3:00 p.m.
I took Balance before dinner according to the product directions.
I continued following an intermittent-fasting schedule.
I did not miss a day.
That consistency is becoming one of the most valuable parts of the experience. Instead of approaching weight loss as another short-term diet, I am developing a repeatable daily structure.
Unimate Continued to Help Me Manage Hunger
One of my clearest observations during the second week was that Unimate continued to make my hunger feel more manageable.
I was not completely free from hunger, nor did I expect to be. However, I often felt less urgency around food. On some evenings, I had to remind myself to eat something for dinner, even when I did not feel like having a large meal.
For example, on the day before my weigh-in, I ate eggs around noon and did not eat again until approximately 5:00 p.m., when I had chicharrones with guacamole. It ended up being a very low-carbohydrate day built primarily around protein and fat.
I was not deliberately trying to go without food. I simply did not feel a strong need to eat more. For me, that reflected one of the positive changes I have noticed: hunger feels more manageable, and I can make deliberate food choices without constantly thinking about my next meal.
Before beginning this routine, cravings and evening eating often controlled my decisions. After two weeks, I feel that I am becoming more deliberate.
My Experience With Energy
I felt somewhat sluggish at different times this week, but I consistently noticed that I felt better after taking Unimate.
For me, it provided a noticeable lift and helped me feel more capable of continuing with the day. As the primary caregiver for my young daughter, that matters. My days do not stop simply because my energy feels low.
This remains my personal experience, and everyone’s experience may be different. Still, the energy I noticed after Unimate was one of the positive and consistent parts of Week 2.
I will continue observing how my energy changes as my body becomes more accustomed to the new schedule and I improve the quality of my meals.
Evening Sugar Cravings Remain a Work in Progress
My sugar cravings seemed slightly stronger this week, especially during the evenings.
I do not view that as a setback. Cravings were one of the habits I wanted to address when I began this journey, and I never expected a lifelong pattern to disappear in two weeks.
The difference is that I am now more aware of the cravings and better able to pause before automatically acting on them.
I also noticed that the cravings may be stronger on days when I eat very little. During Week 3, I plan to include more protein and balanced nutrition during my eating window and observe whether that makes the evenings easier.
This process is teaching me that better health is not about being perfect. It is about recognizing patterns and making increasingly better decisions.
I Increased My Walking
I walked more during Week 2 than I did during Week 1.
These were not extreme workouts. I am simply trying to make movement a normal part of my life again. Walking is something I can do consistently without creating a routine that is too demanding to maintain.
Increasing my activity while continuing to follow the Feel Great routine made Week 2 feel like another step forward—even before I saw the number on the scale.
My alcohol consumption was approximately the same as it was during Week 1. That was still lower than it had been before I began this process, although I would like to reduce it further.
Understanding This Week’s Result
My first week produced a 3.4-pound decrease. My second week produced another 1.1-pound decrease.
A larger first-week change followed by a more gradual second week is not unusual. Body weight does not decline by the same amount every seven days. Hydration, sodium, food intake, digestion and other ordinary fluctuations can all affect a single weigh-in.
The important result is the overall trend:
Starting weight: 194.0 pounds
Week 1: 190.6 pounds
Week 2: 189.5 pounds
Total change: −4.5 pounds
I have lost approximately 2.3 percent of my starting weight in two weeks.
When I step back and look at the complete result, rather than comparing one week with another, I am pleased. I am below 190 pounds for the first time since beginning this journey, and the scale has moved in the right direction for two consecutive weeks.
My Focus for Week 3
During Week 3, I plan to continue the same Unimate and Balance schedule while strengthening the habits around it.
My priorities are to:
Continue following the routine every day
Keep walking consistently
Eat enough protein and nutritious food during my eating window
Pay closer attention to evening sugar cravings
Improve hydration
Reduce alcohol further when possible
Continue monitoring energy, sleep and portion sizes
I am not planning any dramatic changes. The routine is producing progress, so my goal is to remain consistent and improve the supporting habits one at a time.
Two-Week Assessment
After two weeks on the Feel Great System, I am 4.5 pounds lighter.
Unimate has helped make my hunger more manageable and has consistently given me a noticeable lift in energy. The daily schedule has helped me become more intentional about eating, and Balance remains an established part of my routine before dinner.
I am also walking more, eating smaller amounts and thinking more carefully about the choices I make throughout the day.
There is still work ahead. Sugar cravings have not disappeared, my energy was uneven this week, and I can continue improving the quality of my meals. But those challenges do not erase the progress.
Two weeks ago, I weighed 194 pounds and was struggling to regain control of habits that had gradually moved in the wrong direction.
Today, I weigh 189.5 pounds, I have followed the system every day, and I am building momentum.
That is a result worth feeling positive about.
