My Third Week on the Feel Great System: Six Pounds Down

Three weeks into the Feel Great System, the scale is continuing to move in the direction I want.

This week, I weighed 188.0 pounds, down from 189.5 last Monday. That represents a loss of 1.5 pounds for the week and 6 pounds since I started at 194.0 pounds.

My progress so far:

  • Starting weight: 194.0 pounds

  • Week 1: 190.6 pounds

  • Week 2: 189.5 pounds

  • Week 3: 188.0 pounds

  • Total change: −6.0 pounds

The first week produced the largest drop, but I expected the pace to slow after that. What encourages me now is that my weight has continued moving downward for three consecutive weeks.

Staying Consistent With the Routine

I maintained the same Unimate and Balance schedule throughout Week 3. Here in the Dominican Republic, Unimate is sold as Unici-Té.

My routine continued to include:

  • Unimate during the day

  • Balance before dinner, following the package directions

  • Intermittent fasting

  • Greater awareness of my portions and eating habits

Following the same schedule each day is becoming easier. I am spending less time thinking about the routine and simply making it part of my day.

That consistency may be one of the most important changes I am making. I am not following a restrictive menu or expecting perfection. I am developing a routine that I can realistically continue.

Hunger and Sugar Cravings

My hunger was similar to what I experienced during the previous weeks.

I still became hungry, but I continued to feel that Unimate helped make that hunger much more manageable. It did not eliminate the need to eat, nor was that my objective. For me, it helped make it easier to stay within my eating window without constantly thinking about food.

Sugar cravings were still present. I have not suddenly lost all interest in sweets, and I do not want to pretend otherwise.

However, the continued progress on the scale shows me that having cravings does not mean the entire routine has failed. I can experience a craving, make the best choice I can at that moment and continue moving forward.

Energy and Sleep

My energy remained approximately the same as it was during Week 2. I did not notice a major improvement, but I also did not experience a decline.

The same was true for my sleep. It was neither noticeably better nor worse than the previous week.

Not every measurement will change each week. Weight, hunger, cravings, energy and sleep can all move differently. That is one reason I am documenting the entire experience rather than judging the system by one feeling or one weigh-in.

Reducing Alcohol

My alcohol consumption was lower than it was during Week 2.

There were several times when I considered having a cold beer but then remembered that I would soon be drinking Unimate or taking Balance before dinner. That caused me to pause and reconsider whether I really wanted the beer.

It was not because the products required me to avoid alcohol. Instead, following the routine made me more conscious of the choices I was making. Once I had committed to doing something positive for myself, drinking a beer sometimes felt inconsistent with what I was trying to accomplish.

I am not claiming that I will never drink again. Alcohol is often part of social life here in the Dominican Republic. However, the routine is helping me become more intentional rather than automatically having a drink simply because one is available.

A Change Someone Else Noticed

One of the most encouraging moments this week did not come from the scale.

My wife told me that I look skinnier.

It can be difficult to notice gradual physical changes when I see myself every day. Hearing that from someone else made the six-pound difference feel more visible and real.

I am not ready to draw conclusions about changes in body composition, but it was still encouraging to know that my progress may be starting to show.

What Three Weeks Have Shown Me

After three weeks, I am encouraged by the direction of my results.

I have maintained the product schedule, continued practicing intermittent fasting, reduced my alcohol consumption and lost weight during each week of the process. Unimate continues to help me manage hunger, while Balance remains part of my routine before dinner.

There are still areas I want to improve. Sugar cravings remain, and I would like to see more improvement in my energy and sleep. However, I do not need every area to change immediately to recognize that I am making progress.

The biggest lesson from Week 3 is that consistency does not require perfection. It means returning to the routine each day and allowing the results to develop over time.

Three weeks in, I am six pounds lighter, my wife has noticed a visible difference and I feel motivated to continue.

Next week, I will see whether that steady progress continues.
